My B&W P5 remote stopped working on my iPod classic. I checked the headphones against my iPhone to make sure it wasnt the iPod and it didn't work there either. DOes anyone have any thoughts what could have gone wrong and/or if there is something I can do w/o having to change the cable? The sound is just fine, it's just that the remote doesnt work any more.
 
I tried unplugging the cable and cleaning it but that didn't help.
 
Any help/thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated!
