Hi Guys,

I had the B&W C5s and found that they ended up giving me headaches.  It may have been the loop.  I later used the smallest tips which helped.  Wanted to know, is there any change around this?  Obviously the loop is still there, but do I assume, that if I got a headache with the last ones, I would get a headache with the new ones?

Thanks a lot!

From what I've searched, it's possible to use the C5's without the Secure Loop.

However if you're deciding on getting the X7's, can you tell me how they fare against your C5? The soundstage and comfort specifically? It's worth noting that the B&W's have a Dynamic Driver while the Klipsch's have a Moving Armature.

I did this with my original C5, which should also help you.  What you need to do is to tighten the loop as small as possible as not to touch your ears, but change the tips to Comply Foam for port extension and increase friction.  This way you can have your C5 in decent comfort.
