Being a newer player to the iem market it would be good to get some impressions and discussion happening with Azla iems.

Currently have a pair of Azla Horizon and Azla 01R mkii (Both tout some interesting tech) on loan via a local review tour and will be posting impressions in the coming week.

You can check out the website here https://www.azlaproject.com/

I had purchased a pair of 01R's but returned them due to a emphasied peak around 2-5 khz that annoyed me to no end.

No idea, didn't catch the name. I heard it's the newest entry level model. Build quality is better. I'll reserve dropping impressions at least until they are announced

Is this the only Azla thread?

I've been seriously impressed by the Azla Azel..... And I only bought it for the ear tips! $60, wow.

Well, this is a pretty dead thread.
I just got my Horizon today and I'm kind of blown away.
While so many are throwing as many BA drivers as they can, AZLA tweaked the dynamic driver and made this beauty sing like an angel.

AZLA is not hip cause it's not Chi-Fi! :) It is SoKo-Fi. I go SoKo-Fi myself with my Cowon HiFi driving my AZLA MKII.

These need more coverage its rare to see a company use custom drivers from fresh internal R&D and not rely on just re-tuning off the shell stuff.
