Recently visited Ayon Audio Website and saw this amp as their offering to headfiers.
I think it is due time for fellow hifi manufacturers come onboard.

Has any headfiers listen to the Ayon HA-3?

Hello,

Nice review and quite relevant.

Listened today at this HA3 driving my LCD4 easily. Wide soundstage (Symphonie Fantastique, le bal: Berlioz) surprising with the LCD4 usually more 'in the head'.
But the source was the Metronome Technologie C6+

Gives to the amp full bodied notes. Crystalline trebles very well transmitted to the LCD4 by this HA3.
The 45 tube sounds great basses.

I had an earlier model of the HA-3 which had hum - enough to spoil listening during more quiet passages and at lower volumes - I sent it back and now have the most recent model which is quiet. In 2 words it's: Crazy Good. It is transparent but with body like the ECBA, very dynamic and off the charts with detail. I've wondered why we don't see more 45 based amps. I'd say the HA-3 rivals any TOTL headamp out there and may best many.

It seems surprising that there is not so much discussion of the Ayon HA-3 on here; especially in comparison to other top level amplifiers. I would be happy to hear more about any experiences with the Empyrean, and 1266 CC/TC / Susvara / etc.. If it can play in the same ball park as the Allnic 5000, WA 33, LTA Z3 etc, or better them, would be really interested to hear..

Some of the technical info seems hard to come by.
Is Ayon HA-3 an OTL design?
Does the official spec "Output Power at 32Ω" of "500mV" mean 0.5 Watts at 32 Ohms?
