probably the main problem with the OP's post is that he put it in 'headphones' instead of 'music'. I was gonna PM him, but figured I shouldn't be a negative nelly. If it was gonna be a problem, the thread would either go away on its own or a mod would tell him.

Those are probably illegal.

They are from an anime, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.

More specifically the first soundtrack and one of the singles assuming Rise isn't the cut down version from the first sound track.

I own 4/5 of the cds for the show actually, they are available in North America and probably covered under the same laws as any other CD.

These paticular songs are by Origa and Yoko Kanno. Yoko Kanno however is a composer and does music in multiple languages and styles from pop to jazz to rock to orchestra even some hip hop I think. Quite alot of it is very good though personally I would say the GitS stuff is among the worst.
