I have SR-60 and interested in good clean music (nongamer). I have no speakers and I know AV710 does not have a headphone amp built in.

1. will the combination give a good sound? (given the price ratio.)
2. is there a headphone amp built in soundcard with good fidelity for under $100?

thanks,

You could only run headphones off the front outs of the AV-710, and these run off the modest VT1616... not so good. Since you've got a $100 budget, take a look at the Revo 5.1.

Or get the Chaintech and a Go-Vibe or Cmoy to power the SR60's - Much better option IMO

No way. The Revo is an inherently better card. You can only improve your sound by using a better amp and better phones so much. You need a good quality source to start, and the Revo is considerably better than the AV-710. You can always buy or build an amp later and the final product will be that much better.
