I've recently bought the M-Audio AV40 speakers for my laptop and I must say, I'm quite impressed for this kind of money. Only had a question. Is it possible to make them sound even better? They're now connected to a simple external SoundBlaster soundcard. Can an amp or something else make them sound even better? Or doesn't this work cause they have a build in amp? I'm a real noob so I have no idea how these things work..

I think you can buy an external USB DAC.
