I want to be able to use the Wolfson DAC for my headphones and the regular speaker jack for my speakers without having to go into the controls and I was wondering if there is a way to do this. Is there a particular driver to use for this? I want to be able to get the best sound from my headphones so I've followed the guide for foobar but I want the headphones accessible as well as the speakers. Thanks.

you can use a stereo minijack splitter, however the AV-710 doesn't have a built in amp and sounds lousy with even low impedence decent phones, you'll need something to amp it

Can I use the optical out to connect the card to my home stereo receiver and still use the the regular green speaker out for my speakers? I thought using the optical would turn off the other jacks.
