Not sure if its just me but I've got my cassette deck hooked up to my PC to feed music into it in order to make my mp3 and no sound is audible on my PC speakers even though it is coming through and being recorded. With my old TBSC card, I could hear the music playing while I recorded it so what am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Are you using the High Sample Rate mode? If you are then turn it off. If you aren't then there's probably a setting in the control panel to enable playback of the inputs, but I don't have my AV-710 installed right now so I can't tell you where it is (or even if it exists).
