Hi,
does anyone want to do me the favor of uploading scans of the part of the Chaintech AV-710 manual where it describes jumper function? Or just post how they should be set? Because I originally had the card using the 4.73b (I think) drivers with the tweak that let one use the wolfson DAC for center (or something like that, in the setup thread), but have recently reformatted and I needed a mic-in so I used the latest VIA drivers and plug into a different port. At first the sound wouldn't work at all, until I messed with the jumpers. Now, however, there's a "thump" on startup (DC offset maybe?), and a ring in the right channel that's fairly low, but obvious when no music is playing. Also, roughly every 1/15 boots, the card will blast this annoying buzz and it won't go away until I restart.
