At about 7:00 i got a good glimpse of the northern lights from northern ohio.It was all red and crimson shafts of light in the Northeast. With all the recent solar activity,This could go on all night so keep looking up

Hey...I saw them here in southern Maine also. Awsome reds, with some lighter flaring. I usually see the blue-greens when I'm up in northern New Hamshire, but never the crimson colors.

nice link sol_zhen. beautiful pictures, they are.

chicago is cloudy again. and there's a lot of light pollution. sucks. i'm not sure if the aurora borealis caused by the solar flares would be visible even if it was going on overhead right now. ARGH!
