Building my first complete desktop rig, and am converging on the following set-up:
Auralic Aries -> Hugo Chord -> Burson Solist -> HD800
I have had the Hugo Chord and the Burson Soloist for a while (driving a pair of LCD-2 rev 2), but am finally upgrading the source (iPhone w/NAS -> Aries) and the headphones (LCD-2 -> HD 800). As much as I love the LCD-2s, they're just too damn uncomfortable for extending listening.
Does anyone have any thoughts on the new set-up and whether any improvements could made at a similar cost?
