When I connect my Aune X1S to the USB of my 2nd pc, which has no other digital sound outputs, i get quite a lot of noise on the speaker amp connected to the Aune's line out
To attempt to fix this, I have made up a little usb pigtail M-F with only the middle pins (data + and -) wired. Have done them what i think is the right way around (pin 2 to pin 2, 3 to 3)
Nothing. no sound. The PC doesn't pick it up (which it does if i direct connect the original usb cable) there is continuity on the pins.
Am i doing something wrong? do i need to swap them over? or does this DAC need its VCC +/- connected too? If so, i can't use it
