I just bought a new computer running on Windows 10 and I cannot get the drivers for my Aune X1s to download. The device manager recognizes the amp but not the drivers. I've attempted to download the drivers directly from the manufacturer's website but to no avail. Repeated efforts to contact their customer service department have been fruitless. Do any of the experts on this site have a suggestion? Thanks in advance!

Tried the windows 8 drivers ? they work on win10 http://driverlibs.com/download/aune-X1-MK2-MINI-DAC only other thing I can think of is try right clicking the win 10 driver and installing as admin or instaling in safe mode. Also x1 can be picky about where you plug it in try  some different usb sockets or a hub if not using one.

Reviving this with a possible solution:

I got my hands on a X1s today for €160, but when installing it I ran into the same trouble as those in the previous posts.
Even in safe mode it was a bit janky.

Then I found this: https://www.howtogeek.com/167723/how-to-disable-driver-signature-verification-on-64-bit-windows-8.1-so-that-you-can-install-unsigned-drivers/

I can't be bothered with starting up in safe mode every time so I tried the first solution in that article. No succes because of secure boot... disabling that on Asus motherboards is a pain in the ass and required some actions I'm not really comfortable with. What eventually did the trick without disabling secure boot was this:

- Start in safe mode
- Install driver and check if it works
- Restart and go into BIOS
- Disable fast boot
- Restart
- Boom! Working X1s.

I hope this can help some people.
