As a T1 owner, I would really like to see a solid-state amplifier that pairs well with the with the T1. Not that the built-in amp in the T1 is bad, but I'd like something a bit more special.

I would like to see that plus a T1 with upgraded capacitors as stock, full support for 24/192, and a teflon style tube socket... they feel much better than the ceramic ones for tube rolling.

Yes!! And maybe they can give us T1 owners a discount

Heck yes! What tubes are you rolling these days?

A week or so ago i got the Amperex OG 6DJ8, and i have fallen in love with it completely.

This things is warmth to the max. Midrange is super-smooth and full. There's something very satisfying about it. A bit soft in the bass though, but that doesn't bother me much. Simply put, this is probably the most musical and enjoyable tube i own. Will post more detailed impressions along with comparisons with all the other tubes in my collection later on the T1 thread.
Also, I have been eyeing the GE smoked 6DJ8. How would you describe its sound signature?

What about you? Any new tubes in your collection?

Oh the Amperex tubes are among my favourites. I really love the linear sound from top to bottom and also the warm, organic sounding midrange. I also love the Amperex 7308, and the Phillips Miniwatt E188CC. All have that wonderful sound!

I've tried a lot of others, but I also love the sound of the Siemens CCa. It's tough to find, but it offers some real holographic atmosphere to the music. It's very nice.

Looking forward to your posts on the T1 thread!
