I liked the B1 so much that I'm ordering my own from Grant Fidelity here in Canada. Fabulous results using Audeze LCD-X headphones.
 
If you've got other audio units you want reviewed, I'm more than happy to help. I'm doing quite a few reviews as I'm a retired national magazine and community newspaper editor and now a bit of an audio enthusiast.

Strange, it could drive my HE-400 and AKG 701, which are a bit low in efficiency, with no problem at all.

​the hd650 goes to almost 550ohms at some frequencies, this cant power it. seems lifeless.
 
driving it from my LD mkIVSE is a 9 or 10 lets say
aune drives it like a 3 or 4
 
that's the difference to my ears.
 
but for the fostex TH-X00 its brilliant.
