Just the amp. No need to throw the baby out with the bathwater ...

What seems to be happening is that the computer is dumping electronic garbage out through ground. By floating the amp's ground, the garbage never ends up in the audio stream because it's being forced to hit the figurative sewer through other truly grounded components ... like the computer's own ground.

I just wanted to update that my GL problem is non existent ever since I got the cheater plugs.

I only put them on my active monitors and left everything else the same.
