Which is better? I find a DAC around $100. I have right now an onboard ALC889 chip and I am using AKG K99 headphone.

(Sorry for my bad English.)

I don't know about the S.B. but I own the Cube about a year and I think it's great for the money...
You should know though that it plays 44.1, 48, 96kHz but not 88.2kHz! Odd but it doesn't...
A few weeks ago I had an external regulated 5V power supply made (it's diy actually, attached on the usb cable) and it improved more... and drives phones better too!!

Can you PM the link of that external power supply ?

I recently bought a Prodigy Cube and it barely amps and I'm thinking it's probably because it doesn't have enough amp output.
