Hi.
I just came across this one... I know it's a predecessor to Prodigy 7.1 but I had couple of questions...

1. Does this use Envy24 chipset as well? Couldn't find it on Audiotrak website.
2. Would this be significant leap from Chaintech? Esp. if it can be had for less than $60?!!

stay away from this one, uses terrible Sigmatel DACs.. yes it has Envy, but that's about everything good about the card.. better get yourself Revo 5.1 for about the same money..

That's a shame, as I heard the Prodigy was a good card. Going downhill to serve the bottom is not a good idea, IMO. Let Creative and integrated sound do that.

Hi,

I'd love to buy this card for <$60. The best I have found so far is $99. Is there a pointer you could share?

I need one for the Toslink output. The card also supports 24/192 digital output on the coax port.
