My first post here. Although not new to headphones, on the contrary - my first serious one was a Pioneer 305. Mighty big and for the time (and my age) mighty good.
Since then on-and-off for serious listening through headphones. Until last week actually only on travels, in the airplane, with a Shure 530 on a Fiio X5, filled with loads of HD music.
For home I had a Sennheiser RS220 wireless for convenience, but I never fell in love with it.

Then I stumbled upon a second hand HD800. This was an "ear-opener" to the n-th degree. So, of course started looking around in this field for what to, how to, and who to and ended up here.
