Audioquest Python or Acoustic Zen Matrix Ref 2

I would like to upgrade my current interconnects ( Audioquest Viper ) - my current options are those mentioned above ( also add Harmonic Tech Pro-Silway 3 ) - I can get both in a good deal.
I was wondering if any of you guys own/compared/heard these cables.
I live outside the US so other cable brands are hard to find

The Matrix Refs are a very good cable for the right system. They have a very nice full mid-range with a bit of roll-off on the top. I went to using the AZ Silver Ref which has a leaner midrange, but better extension and tighter bass and have never really looked back. For the price I think the Matrix refs are a good deal, just don't listen to the Silver Refs, they're addicting!

Next week I will get a chance to audition the AZ Matrix Ref 2 compared to the AQ Python, I will give my impressions afterwards...

I used to own some Pythons. In my system, they were very bright, very detailed, and had almost no bass. My guess is that in the right system they could be great, but for me they didn't work well at all (though i'll add that the person i traded them to liked them quite a bit).

I replaced them w/ Cardas Neutral refs which I like a lot. They have a slight bit less detail, but have a very neutral character -- good if the rest of your system is to your liking.

YGPM - Let me know if you had problems getting it, there was a MySQL error when I sent it. I didn't resend since I'm not sure if it went through OK.
