Has anyone tried the new dragonfly's with the momentums?
 
I would love to buy the Red but price is a bit steep for me, and I'm worried about the 1.2V output of the Black version. It says it can only power the most efficient headphones.
 
On another note would the Red version really be worth the money to be used with Momentum's?

I am using the momentum over ear V2 with a Dragonfly Black in combination with a macbook air and a iPhone 6. The difference (for me) is marginal. However other people are very happy with the quality of the dragongfly. The dac does improve volume a lot. I guess my ears are not that sensitive. Also, the senheiser momentum v2 is my first semi-audiophile headphone. Your question was if there was someone who has tested the dragonfly black with the first generation.
