I got this unit few days ago and I am wondering if someone have tried an usb isolator with it ?

I "think" I see a difference between my netbook and my big PC when using the AP2 with my dac. While my unit will not be burned till this weekend, I don't put much effort to detect difference at this moment.

It's definitively better than HiFace (I have one atm). Not sure it's a total upgrade from my soundcard Xonar ST. Soundcard give more body to the music but have little less details qualityy.

Will doing more test this weekend and the AP2 will have 200 hrs burn--in

Why would you need to use a USB isolator with an expensive USB to SPDIF converter specially designed to get the best SPDIF signal out of a USB ? Do you thing the designer just forgot it would be plugged into a USB port? That 's just madness..

I don't think the audiophilleo will work with an usb isolator, at least at this moment, usb isolators are limited to 12 mbps and the audiophilleo like other converters, as the hiface, needs 480 mbps from the usb port
