I realize this card is a no go for gaming, but what about DVDs? Weather decoding the audio is a function of the sound card or software depends on what you've got, right? What about DVD-A?

i don't know much about it's DVD performance with movies, but i do know that the Audigy 2 is currently the only card that will do DVD-Audio. the Revo is capable, but there is no software to do it yet.

Aright, thanks. I'm guessing if it could do DVD-A in the future, it would all be done in software as M-Audio is having problems with the REVO.
