I was wondering if there is a good USB sound card to be used for headphones with 600 ohm impedance costing up to $1500.
Some research on the web got me to this SoundBlaster X-Fi HD USB Audiophile sound card.
The description is as follows :-
Superior headphone experience
High quality headphone amp supports studio-quality headphones (e.g. <=330Ohms) for discerning audiophiles.
It appears that this thing will not be optimal for headphones with an impedance higher than 330 ohms.
Any suggestions?

I actually have plans for a decent headphone amp (Naim Headline) but it won't connect to the PC. Do we need a USB sound card such as the one above to hook up a headphone amp? Is there a USB sound card that double up as a DAC and headphone amp?
Any advice appreciated.
