Hello,

I know they are many threads but I went through them and they are rather old, 2004ish.

I currently have a Philips Aurilium external soundcard. I am using it without any drivers and it is a pretty cheap sound card. I just bought a used Audiophile USB and I am looking at the drivers and a pretty much all the posts concerning this sound card and foobar and I am a bit lost.

I am wondering what should be considered to have the device work the way it should be. I guess I would want to install ASIO4ALL or some Kernel Streaming to achieve the best sound quality. I would assume the latest drivers on M-audio site are the best: APUSB_5.10.00.5099.exe which is dated from 2007.

Seeing many users had problems with the device, could any of those users stand up and tell me what they did to help me save some time.

I am using Foobar, I plan using the digital coax out to power up my computer speakers and the RCA's to feed my M^3. I really like the crossfed feature on my amp so this is why I wanna use it.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Charles
