I found some fun tests:

http://jakemandell.com/amvi/ - got 100%
http://tonometric.com/rhythmdeaf/ - got 96%

What are your scores?
:D

So what about HD800 vs IE800? Are those two comparable somehow?

I don't really have a clue about how high-end IEMs can sound - therefore sorry for that (maybe) lame question...

'Only' 95% and 84%. It is past 12 o'clock in the night, though... But you must have a quite good hearing, memory/hearing or something. Ever studied music og played an instrument? I havn't...

Jusr heard the hd800 for the first time. And some models from stax, including the 007. I must say the stax sr-303 and other lambda models are very unlike the hd800, I was so surprised. The stax headphone has an incredible sense of texture, which the hd800 hasn't, actually the hd800 seemed very clean and 'not textured' in comparison. The are contrasts to each other in that sense

Hmmm how much time passed since I made the HD800 and LCD2 comparison? Almost one month and a half. Well...now I am a proud owner of a Sennheiser HD800 too. Hmm, should I write a post only about HD800, or the previous 2 posts are enough already? What do you think?

Would love to know if your impressions are still the same or have changed from last time

I would love to read a compact comparison among IE800, LCD-2 and HD800 ,-)

Unfortunately I had to give the IE800 back, but they are wonderful and you really have flagship, high end sound in your pocket with them. They are a mini HD800 but nevertheless hd800 is still long  ahead. I really felt IE800 had more details than LCD2 and sometimes I enjoyed some songs better with IE800 but still prefer LCD2 overall for their natural meaty sound with lush mids and wonderfull bass.

I have listened to them for some days now and I still love them both. They are both absolutely amazing.

Did you own Etymotic ER-4S by any chance, in my book they are still a reference in ears in tonality and details department.

This thread is amazing. Every now and again I find a thread that gets me so engrossed that I can't stop reading until I've gone through the whole thread, this is one of those rare times
