I have been pretty pleased with the improvement Audioengine D1 doc/headphone amp made to my computer set up with Audioengine A5 speakers. The headphone output recently came handy when I purchased Audioquest Nighthawk headphones. I'm curious how much of an improvement would iFi iDAC2 bring to the table....of course, any other recommendation are welcome for a quality dac/headphone amp that would better a pretty good (especially for the price) Audioengine D1.
