Just a question about these speakers. They are "monitors" and should sound flat correct? Now if you messed with your soundcard/chip EQ could you not make it sound more "lively/warm"? or does that have nothing to do with the way the A5's will sound and its strictly the components used?

AFAIK the A5's arent truly monitor class

but there are various comments on the net about people EQing them and tweaking things, much like with the A2's to get them how they want it.

i have been looking into these recently, and was looking at edirol monitors also, which are alleged to have a more accurate flat signature.
