I think this is the correct forum, seeing as it is all about headphones.

Audiocubes seems to have rasied almost all of their headphone prices.

The DX1000 is now $949, the AD700 is now $150, the A700 is $160.

The D5000 is now $600?

Weird, I guess the market is willing to pay more?

I'm glad I got my Denon's for 220 bucks a few months back. I see them there for 299 now... I wonder if other companies will follow and jack up the prices.

According to Bush we are not in a recession hmmm oh well hehehe

The USD are historically low valued against most other currency. So its perfectly understandable that AudioCubes raise their prices, imo.

I guess I should have seen that coming. I hope we don't end up in economic recession, that would really suck.

Might as well buy from Pricejapan then, their prices tend to be lower IME.

Holy Crap! I just looked earlier this morning and the DX1000 was still at $879 with the W5000 at $899. An increase of $70 in 4 hours.

Unfortunately dollar is extremely low right now, and it's really bad for us since we import a lot of stuff from Japan and elsewhere. Trust me we don't like to raise prices, that only means sales will be more sluggish.

Also, regarding Audio-Technica products, there is a strict MAP policy for US distributed Audio-Technica products so our prices have to abid by the rules as well.
