Titles says it all. My main concern is gaming then music. I understand one is open and the other isn't but thats about it. Which is better for positional audio since I will be using them for call of duty 4 mainly.

Both are very good for positioning but the AD series is a bit better. The A700 will be more fun because of it's bass. You'll feel the shotguns blast and grenades. If being competitive is more important get the AD700. I've only heard the A700 and AD900. I'm sure the AD700 is similar.

Music will be a matter of preference. If you like pop, dance, and rap get the A700. Classical, instrumental, and jazz, go for the AD700.

Usually open headphones sound better then closed & have a bigger sound stage.
