Does anyone know a place in the US where you can try out some AT phones? I've heard a lot of recomendations for these, but i would like to actually listen to them before purchasing them...

The higher end AT cans that are discussed here are only available in Japan and to some degree South East Asia. Unless you have a source there the only real way to obtain them is through Audio Cubes which is an American company but the product is shipped directly from Japan.
