The ATH-AD700 headphones are measured in the very interesting article "Between the Ears: the art and science of measuring headphones" by Keith Howard, Stereophile, August, 2008 (available at Stereophile: Between the Ears: the art and science of measuring headphones).

Howdy MarcoGV,

Thanks for the first post! (...er, Sorry About Your Wallet!) Yep, that's a very interesting Stereophile piece and some worthwhile reading.

We are still in-process with correcting some HeadRoom website back-end issues for our graph displays -- sadly, its time-consuming work & proceeding along at a crawl.

However, once the back-end website stuff is completed, we expect new graphs/specs up for all our headphones and also (hopefully!) many more headphone-to-headphone comparisons along with additional specs/data as well.

Towards that end, we've recently brought aboard a local MSU engineering/ audiology/HRTF intern to help our HeadRoom measurements process along -- so that should help!

Because different manufacturers have different reseller agreements and we therefor have different requirements to fill with each vendor.

PITA!? You bet.

Howdy Jonathan,

Thanks for the note.

The Audio Technica ESW9 will be in-stock on the HeadRoom website next week!

ES7 = still awaiting word on availability... Hopefully we'll know something soon on that model.

We've had a VERY hard time figuring out which AT headphones remain in current production and, out of those still-produced models, which AT headphones are "legal" to be brought into the USA. In fact, our AT-USA reps seem as confused as we are so we're obviously working through some availability issues on the well-known, heavily in-demand models many of which appear to be effectively discontinued by Japan! .... I'll add that dealing with the separate 'Pro' and 'Consumer' wings of AT has proven to be a labyrithian nightmare!
