Probably real. The fake ones usually have a ribbed strain relief on the headphones. Here is a blurry pic of some fake ones.

why the hell do people make fakes? Doesn't the effort put in outweigh the profit of selling, especially if they are being sold as second hand

Exactly! it's completely stupid! it's a pitty that there are people trying to make dirty money out of us, music lovers.

Look at that! Right next to the ATH's, FAKE PX200's! (No plastic carrying case and a cheapo bag, so definitely not legit.) I knew that PX100's had their fair share of doppelgangers but looks like the higher-ups as well. Really sad that people are making a profit off of this racket.
