For biking, I need something durable, but not incredibly expensive, as well as something small. I've actually bought a pair of Audio Technica ATH-EC7 clip-ons.

http://www.audiocubes.com/product/Au...eadphones.html

I've also read all the threads here about fakes, but this one specifically caught me...
http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=175862

Specifically, this post:
http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showp...0&postcount=21

If you goto his website/forum, he shows what CX300's are fakes, etc. But, if you look at the pic of the EC7's he has, it has the little rubber piece that goes over the bend....but people believe all of his stuff to be authentic. So does that dispell the whole fact about the rubber piece being a tell-tale of it being a fake? He's showing some pics of fakes, while he sells real ones...

Reason being, is I bought a pair from this guy:
http://stores.ebay.com/SUPERMARKETHK

His have the rubber over the bend too...eitherway, it was only $17, and includes everything...well, atleast the auction says it does.

What do you think? In anycase, are these better than EX51/EX71's??? How about KSC-75's?

...you can also have a look at this thread:
Link

The plastic does not seem to say if the EC7s are fake or not...

In fact I now also do own cheap EC7s and will definitely post a comparison with the cheap CM7s soon. But both are still burning in - especially the EC7s need A LOT of burn in, as they sounded awful when they were new. Now they begin to develop, with the highs being even better than the CM7s, but the midth will hopefully further open up...

I was just reading up on this tread as I just got my ebay ones yesterday.

I had to open them up to see the driver itself and the magnet on drivers seem to be silver colored while the ones on a pic of some genuine ones seem to be black. http://www.head-fi.org/forums/showpo...&postcount=232

It seems to be a different driver in there allright.

But why buy from ebay when you can save close to 90% off the price buying from this respectable store http://install.ufo15.com/product_114.html ??
Has to be the biggest discount ever
wink.gif

They claim them to be original OEM aswell.

They are the exact same ones I got btw.
