You are not going to share some thoughts? Or review?

I should be getting a pair soon (little matter of a volcano keeping them grounded) but I found (and google translated) this review: Forum GenerationMP3 > Audio Technica ATH-ES10

Seems very positive: (driven from an s9) 'The soundstage, separation of instruments and rendering the texture of each instrument are all of excellent quality.'

'Overall I found the ATH-ES10 very good for styles such as rock, electro and even jazz. But I think the constant dynamism of the headphones is not well suited for classical.'

I have not been able to use another pair of headphones since I got these.

Thank you. That's precisely what I was expecting (and one of the reasons why I'm hesitating between them, the ESW10, Earsonics SM3 and strongly interested in the T50p).

^^How would using the EQ help? you are just increasing quantity, not the quality.

Anyone heard of fake ES10s? If so, how to tell the difference between genuine ones and fake ones?

Thanks!
James
