Hello guys and gals. Newb here. :)
I'm looking to get a pair of ATH M50 headphones. I'll use them mostly for my little home ''studio''(a desktop, guitar, bass, DAW software, and an audio interface). What i want them for: mainly for tweaking my guitar and bass tone(lots of EQ stuff) and mixing the final product for getting a great sound. I'm not looking for the excessive-bass type of headphones, but good all-rounder, versatile type, with good lows, mids and highs. Boost or cut whatever frequencies.
Problem is, the country where I live, everything is overpriced, especially electronics and car parts.
While on some forums people claim that they've bought ATH M50 for ~120$, the price over here is roughly 210$(and that's the cheapest i could find), while the most expensive is over 250$ for the same model.
So i thought about the ATH-M30, which are a lot cheaper, but I don't know if they perform that well.
What are the differences between the two?(in terms of sound quality)
Is it worth to save some money and get the ATH M50?
Or do you know similar headphones(different brand) but less expensive?
OR some reputable shop specialized in audio stuff(in Europe)?
Thanks. And sorry for my English.
