Ok, these are the three headphones which through reading this forum and doing other research that I think are the best headphones under 200. tell me which is best of the three or if i missed something.

do you mean ad700s instead of m50s?
the m50s are closed, and people don't really talk about them. (they're good for closed, too, but I think in a throw up between them and ad700s, the 700s would win hands down.)
I have the ad700s, and LOVE them. they have a unique sound, but it's pretty amazing.
but what kind of music do you listen to? grados are amazing for rock, but not so much other stuff.

I listen to a wide variety of music.Rock, electronic and hip-hop mainly but I also like some jazz. How expensive are the ad700s? I heard that Grado are amazing for their price point but my research really could'nt find anything with rave reviews in the 100-200 area...

Try searching for the SR60 and/or SR80 appreciation thread, if you wanted to read rave reviews..
Be forewarned, the comfort isn't as bad as it's told. People just need to tweak the headband a little bit. Happy hunting! Sorry about that wallet

wow Thanks! just one thing I don't like the purple colour it's got, would spray-painting damage the headphones or not? If so, what are alternative ways to change their colour.

Since the headphones have an open design, spray painting it would mess with the drivers and other internal wiring. If you could take the cups off, that would work, but if you ask me, the purple just adds to the awesome.
