Hi, I was wondering if anyone else had a similar issue. I've been using the M50's for a little over a week now and they're great except they aren't very loud even at max volume. I've tried them on multiple devices including my desktop, ipad, phone, laptop etc and the only device that is sort of loud is my phone but even on there it doesn't get to a point where I have to turn down the volume. I don't think this is normal since even my $40 ear buds and $60 turtle beaches are considerably louder but I'll ask anyway, are they normally this quite or are they defective? If this is normal is there anything I can do to make them louder?

My M50's get real loud. Even when plugged into an MP3 Player.

Try a budget amp like the Fiio E6 and see if there's any difference.
