Greetings and Salutations!
Does anyone own or has listened to the Audio Technica ATH-M40fs precision studiophones? They are supposedly on par with the Sony MDR-7506's which I already own and love for commuting. I found the AT's on sale for $69 (retail: $150) at www.bswonline.com, but wanted some feedback before I potentially waste my money. Here are the specs:
ATH-M40fs Specifications
Operation: Closed-back
Impedance: 60 ohms
Element: Dynamic
Maximum Input Power: 1,600 mW
Driver Diameter: 40 mm
Weight (less cable): 8.8 oz (250 g)
Frequency Response: 5 - 28,000 Hz
Cable: 11' (3.4 m), left-side entry
Sensitivity (1 mW): 100 dB
Connector: 1/4" (6.3 mm) phone plug
Magnet Type: Neodymium
More info here: http://www.audio-technica.com/guide/.../ATHM40fs.html
Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!
