HI,
I'm looking for good low-cost headphones mostly  for rock/metal, and some dubstep.
which one of these will sound better and be better overall?

At first i wanted to get the M30's but I read some very positive reviews of the Monoprice, and also they are more portable than the M30's which is a big plus for me.

Other suggestions around that price are also very welcome.
Thanks

If portability is a big plus for you, then definitely get the monoprice.
You will not be disappointed with them.

However, I suggest buying directly off Monoprice.com, as the prices tend to be cheaper over there.

Thank you for your response!
The problem with ordering from their website is that shipping to my country costs about 50$...
So would you say they are about the same when comparing sound quality?

I couldn't tell ya if they were the "same" because I haven't personally heard the M30, but I can reassure you that at the price range of under $100, monoprice does not disappoint.

I haven't heard the Monoprice headphones, but I love my ATH-M35 (same as the M30, but folding for portability).

Has anyone tried both of these headphones?
