I see they have pretty good specs, plus the short-cord design for remotes. Of course, it means diddly-squat if they don't have good sound. Anyone try these out?
Audio Technica ATH-F55 - are these decent?

In two words, absolutely not.
Basically they sound very boxy. Not as boxy as the Senn HD202, but in the same direction. A definite step down from either of the Eggos, IMO.
I was hoping someone might jump in before me on this thread, but alas, I am reduced to A-T bashing yet again. Seriously though, I could count on one or two fingers the A-T 'phones I would consider purchasing. The PRO series and the F series are to be avoided. Once again, IMO.
