Has anyone compared awas and th900mk2 pearl white or brilliant purple, these are the versions because they sound smoother than regular red ones. I would be grateful for a detailed answer.

A search in this thread turned up some users saying that the AWAS has good pairing potential with tubes. Any amp recommendations? There are many types of tube amps, so if there is a particular amp that people have had good results with, I'd be interested in checking it out. I currently don't have any tube amps.

Auris Nirvana was a sensational pairing. But it's very expensive
