I must first mention that I already own the ATH-AD700X, but I will be returning them because they have been uncomfortable, which is surprising considering I purchased them for comfort and audio quality.
Anyway, to the main point. Are the Pioneer SE-A1000s worth the purchase? I've been looking around for good open-air headphones and happened to have stumbled across these today. After a lot of reading, it seems that this pair is marginally better than the AD700(x)s (based on assumption). I would like to know if this assumption is correct, or if I'm better off keeping my current pair.
1. Is the audio quality on the Pioneer SE-A1000s better than the ATH-AD700X? I like clear mids & highs and don't care if the bass isn't "powerful".
2. Is the comfort better on Pioneer?
3. If there's anything else I should know, let me know.
