Hi , new to the scene and wanted to get a pair of headphone for mp3/computer listening.

Read many reviews and post and wanted to try out
- Audio Technica ATH-AD700.
- Sennheiser HD 555

Any idea where I can try/get them in Singapore and what is the approximately retail price like.


Maybe should add that I prefer classical and female jazz vocal.


Recommendations is appreciated.

try stereo at plaza sing level 4, or at causeway point level 2, or jaben at the adelphi level 4 (opposite funan at city hall mrt). or you could go to jaben.net to find out more too.

stereo is the way to go. don't try jaben unless there is a good deal/ specials... they tend to sell at higher prices.

the last time i contacted stereo though, the ATHs are having a price increase due to the economy. they always tell me to go there because the prices are unstable.

jaben does tend to give you pretty nice discounts if you buy more than one item from them, say: a headphone amp + a headphone
