Based on reviews, I bought ad900x's few months ago but i did not like them as they sounded too shallow/lacking depth, I imagined they would sound better than this. I plugged them straight to my pc headphone jack, is my Realtek soundcard to blame or are the headphones? Can you recommend me headphones that has spacious circular soundstage with forward sound you can feel like you're there? I am going to buy an amp as well. Thanks in advance

If you intend to get a decent amp and need a sealed can, how about the DT150.

As it has an impedance of 250 Ohms, it will work well out of a simple OTL tube amp such as a LD Mk.III or a Darkvoice 336se.

Frankly, you should give your A900X another chance though, out of a decent amp and maybe with A1000 pads (I modded mine in this way, to increase comfort and soundstage width).
