Ok guys, to make it straight, i tried the two headphones, and for me, the difference in quality between the two is not a big deal (even not a deal at all) when compared with the extra weight of the A900... Actually, the A700 feel more comfortable than A900, although the A900 costs 50 bucks more

What do you think about that ?

Yes the margin of difference between the A700 and A900 is very small and they both sound very similar. I own both of them and I'd be hard pressed to notice the differences unless I do some critical listening. The difference between the two (a small one at that) is the A900 to my ears has a sharper level of detail than the A700. Soundstage and level of bass is about the same between the two. If you don't do any critical listening or just started out in this hobby, you won't be able to notice the difference.

Hey, I got some questions about these 2 headphones. I was just wondering if there's a difference in sound quality in dynamics used without an amp. On audiocubes it states the a900 at 40ohm and the a700 at 64ohm. Would there be much of a difference if I was to run it straight out of my ipod running lossless in the 2 headphones??
