Did a search and didn't see anything so I started a thread: its like the end of November 2016, and next year would make 55 years for Audio-Technica (1962-2017); they've done anniversary headphones (and other stuff) at the five year mark for decades now, with the last being in 2012 (the ATH-W3000ANV). I haven't seen or heard anything about a 55th anniversary release, but I'm curious if anyone else maybe has...

I'm stoked also.  Remember that the US press release for the W3000ANV was 28 December 2011.  They debuted at CES 2012.  So we have some time until/if Audio Technica releases information.
 
Some places they need to update:
 
The AD----X series.
A flagship W----.
A limited edition ESW--(and not the ESW9LTD).
The ES-10 (have the ES770 now; or even an update to the old ES88).
 
And probably some more I'm not thinking of.

Back from the dead with this thread!

CES has come and gone, and unfortunately I've still not seen anything from AT about their 55th anniversary, including no announce of a limited edition W model, even on the Japan website. Anyone else aware of any updates?
