At the moment I'm working on the restoration of audio files again.
In particular with the removal of noise and clicks (vinyl).
Usually the programs work in such a way that one presents with the learn function, the program a place in the file, where only the noise is to be heard. This way the program learns how the noise sounds. Then you set all the necessary parameters.

But how do you proceed, if there is no place where only the noise can be heard?

At the moment I work with IZotope RX9,
but I also have WaveLab at home, and the VST plugins NoiseFree, and ScratchFree from Algorithmix.

VinylStudio works really well at the default settings and allows individual removal for the worst clicks. Free too!
