Hey everyone,
 
I just recently upgraded from Senn hd-25 ii's to the Grado PS-500 and am loving every minute of it.
Right now I'm running the headphones through a fairly inexpensive audio interface (Audiobox 22VSL). While these do a better job of driving my headphones than my iMac, I'm wondering whether how much of a difference I'll see through a dedicated AMP/DAC?
 
Would anybody have any suggestions for an amp to use on my computer for the ps-500? Preferably below the $200 mark, if possible. Is it even worth purchasing one at that price point for these headphones?

Absolutely worth it.
 
Schiit Modi & Schiit Magni together come in at your price range. Maybe something like the Fiio E17 if you're wanting portability.
